Dear Friends and Fellow Wildlings,
As the gentle murmur of springtime beckons us to reforge our ties with Mother Earth, we at Heart of the Wild are delighted to share that we’ve recently become caretakers for two acres of native
woodland at Anam Cara in Inverness. We are organizing our first non-residential weekend event to
mark the beginning of our journey to establish a physical presence for Heart of the Wild. It’s a crucial first step, and we invite you to be a part of this historic endeavour.
Woodland Weekend: Cultivating Our Sacred Land at Anam Cara
Date: 9th & 10th March (Saturday and Sunday)
Time: 10am to 5pm each day
Location: Anam Cara, Upper Leachkin, Inverness, IV3 8PN, SCOTLAND
Apart from meeting and greeting the land ceremonially, the focus of this event is thinning out trees to allow the establishment of a mature forest with healthy undergrowth. Your helping hands for this
adventure would be most appreciated and now doubt it will be a joyful community event.
Please note that while we’d be delighted for your presence all weekend, you’re more than welcome to come for a single day. Campervans for an overnight stay are welcome for those who wish to bring them.

Here’s to embarking on memorable journeys together!
In harmony and love,
Heart of the Wild
