It is a spiritual practice, a way of life, a system of healing and communion. It doesn’t matter what the spiritual background is of an individual – whether Hindu, Christian, Buddhist, or non-believer – everyone can practice these Ancient Ways. Shamanism is dynamic, it adjusts and modifies itself to what we believe as individuals to be true. It moulds to ourselves and our lives. For example for someone who is steeped in Buddhist tradition, the spirits allies may show themselves as Bodhisatvas. They can come forward as Mother Mary or an Archangel etc. Learn more on our Introduction to Shamanism weekend.
