From a shamanic perspective, our aura reflects our state of health at any given point in time –spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. In some areas of our lives we are in harmony, and in others we are in disharmony – we are ‘out of balance’. For example your relationship with your partner is well balanced and harmonious, you enjoy the work you are doing, however you are sitting on an unprocessed traumatic experience you had with someone in the past. And every time you think about that person, rage rises in you and deep pain. There is an emotional imbalance that is stuck in your system. This will be reflected somewhere in the aura. There may be a gap, a friction, an empty space, a void, and your aura is vulnerable in that area – meaning that something can enter into your system that doesn’t belong, or something that does belong may leave you.
